DA DA DADA DA DA DADA - ONE YEAR TIL WEDDING :)

One year from today until the EPIC day when Gitsnik and Gitsbitch become one united by God and by law under the banner of MARRIAGE!!!! OMG so excited.

Wedding plans are coming along well.
The Gitsnik is still amazing and gets more amazing every day.
My heart still beats like crazy when I see him.
Work is still work.
I recently joined a gym to try and slim down not just for the wedding but for myself and for the wonderful Gitsnik.
Not that he really thinks I need it. He thinks I am gorgeous as I am which makes me go all giggly, especially on the inside where the giggle fairies live, lol.

I wish I had more time off to spend with the Gitsnik. The one big drawback to joining the gym is that it takes up more of my Gits time, this I DO NOT like!!! :(
But I must stick with this to get the results I want for this day next year.

The Gits has been feeling a little flat the last few days and I hope he feels better soon tho. I will give him extra snuggle and kisses to ensure he does. He has all my love too. But he already knows this. Or at least he should!!!!

Dress, Plans and the Amazing Man

It is just over a year from the date we want for our wedding and things are looking good.
My dress and veil have arrived in store and on Thursday I am going for the try on to make sure it is all okay. Hopefully my jewellery has arrived also :)
Not sure if that means taking the dress home or not though. Need to remember to take my shoes with me as well.

Our plans are coming along very nicely with a couple of options to be decided on for small things . I am fairly certain I know what dress I want my bridesmaids and maid of honor to wear. Next is shoes and Flower girl. Gitsnik is in charge of the groomsmen and his own clothing and footwear, though I may help if needed ;)
We are heading home for a wedding in August and hopefully will get family input into our plans and some helpful hints and suggestions.

The Gitsnik is AMAZING. I mean come on.... he puts up with me lol. Admittedly that can sometimes be a trial I sure.
Anyway cannot think of anything else so Gitsbitch over and out.

Hello again. It has been a while since my last post and I thought I would pop a small note up today and follow up with a better one tomorrow.

Wedding plans are coming along splendidly and the groom is holding up under the strain ;). Looking forward to August when two of our friends are getting married and this also means we will have some time in NSW to make some solid plans and bookings for our special day next year.

The engagement notice went into the paper yesterday and I look forward to having a look at it and hopefully getting a copy of it for the memory box.

Only two more payments on my dress and my jewelry should be ready for pick up shortly too. Cuff links have been chosen and paid for and we are just awaiting delivery.

I am trying to decide whether to go with fresh or artificial flowers. I like the thought of both. But I like that I can get the faux ones well before the wedding and not have to worry about delivery on the day or them not being what we wanted. I also like that they would be a lasting reminder of our day and that we could either store them away or use them in our home (when we buy one). Alas that then poses the question of whether to go with artificial, silk or foam. And also where to get them and if we can get them in the designs I have already chosen.

So many decisions and it seems that this year is determined to try and pass us by as quickly as possible.

The Gits is wonderful and likes to tease me with Bridezilla comments but that smile on his face means I can see he's jesting.

I am now in charge of rosters for my work so hopefully that means I will be able to get a few more days off with my Gits. For they are well deserved and needed.

Wedding Plans and the Amazing Man

Well I may be at work but there is just so much to look at and
choose and research for our wedding. So that's what I am doing.
Today's list looks at Flower girl dress and bridesmaid dress options.
I've got lists for them but with nobody here to help pick from the
bridesmaids and the flower girl so far away lol.
Cannot wait to get the Gits' mum involved in the planning and everything.

I am sooooooo excited **squeals** lol.

I have my dress, shoes, veil, tiara and earrings. I also have 100 x two piece
favor boxes yay.
August is on it's way and it is saving time before then. Hopefully the Gits and I
can get the ceremony and reception locations sorted on that trip and we will also
have a look at wedding cake makers, florists and photographers, videographers and any local dresses for flower girl etc...

The Gits is being very helpful and amazing with the plans and whilst he is as nervous as I am I think ( well, hope) that he is as excited about our upcoming nuptials as I am.

I think all parentals involved are really looking forward to it as well.
That and they may be looking forward to us giving them grandchildren.

:) But then so am I and I know the Gits is too!!!

Exams and Hugs

Work has been stressful for both of us the last few days but really looking forward to Easter.

Easter and Stuff

Well Easter is just around the corner and we are really looking forward to it,
The Gits and I, at least I think he is too.
The Gits and I are engaged. It still makes me grin like an idiot at ;east a thousand times a day.
His adorable little sister gets to be our flower girl.
And I get to ask his dad to walk me down the aisle, looking forward to that but not to telling my mum that I don't want her partner to do it.
This week I have to collect Easter treats for family.
I want to get the Gits something special for his birthday. I just love him so very much.
Not sure what to get though.
He is at home today and I really wish I was there with him instead of at work.
We finally get a day off together tomorrow and we are going to church to discuss our engagement and wedding with the pastor.
My darling man works so hard and I sometimes do not think I show my appreciation of that as much as I could.

Cannot wait until 5pm when I get to drive home and be in your arms.
Tonight I am ignoring my computer completely and spending all night showing my Gits how much I love him and adore him!!!!!!
I haven't done that enough lately and I don't want him to feel bad in anyway.

OMG OMG Engaged!!!!!!!

So very happy.
The Gits proposed on Monday night and it was amazing.
We went to the beach and he was perfect. Everything was perfect!

The ring is beautiful and so is the wedding band he got to go with it.

Big Thank You's to all who have congratulated us so far.

Gits got himself a ring to wear to tell all the ladies he's taken yay!!!

Thinking the 9th of July 2011 as the wedding day.

So the saving is starting ASAP LOL.

We woke my mum up to let her know and I think she was still mostly asleep hehehe

I didn't know Jen had that much squeal in her lol

Can't wait until Easter when we go and visit our family :D

Valentines......

Well it is Valentines Day and I am stuck at work until 5pm grrrr.
Must say even though I don not put too much stock in the whole Valentines day sensationalism I had a great morning with Gits. And I am sure he agrees.

The whole point of Valentines day is to show someone how much you love them.... Gits does that everyday.....so..... lucky me :)

Romance is great but if you are only willing to put that effort in once or twice a year that is showing it to only be a token gesture maybe, IDK.

What I do know is that I would rather be at home with my love than here at work. Whether it is V Day or not. I know Gitsnik does not believe in the hype of the day but sometimes I can see the appeal of it.

I have never really had a valentines day but I do not think I am missing out on anything because I have Gits spoiling me every other day of the year to make up for it lol.

You know you do spoil me honey. You treat me as if i was a princess. I am not but you make me feel luckier than any princess could ever be.

Birthday time

Well it has finally happened.......I turned that ghastly quarter of a century old as of yesterday. I must say that it was a fantastic day. Gitsnik made it really awesome.

I got chocolates, three great books, my favorite scotch and dinner from our favorite restaurant. Plus I got taken to a really good movie that whilst not romantic by any stretch of the imagination was something we both really wanted to see.

So to recap I got thoroughly spoilt by Mr Amazing himself (my Gits).

Even got a big Happy Birthday call from his parents and his gorgeous little sister.
My mum remembered to call though with her partner talking to her in the background it was a little annoying.

My Gits' wonderful mother is sending me a present that will arrive either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Onto other topics.......

The Gits is going to propose within the next few months and he likes keeping me on edge as to when this highly anticipated event shall occur exactly so I have come to the conclusion that I will not anticipate it. If we go to dinner it shall simply be dinner. A walk will be a simple walk etc... :P

We are spending Easter with the parents and showing off the shiny that he will have given to me by then and to prove to Daniel that yes we are engaged before his wedding in August :P so there Dan!!!!!!!

Yet again I am at work and bored....not much changes in that regard.
I just want the day to be over so I can go home to my Gits.

Well thankfully Christmas is over and my mum headed home.
The new year is underway and I personally cannot wait for the year ahead :)
Really want to go home and play nethack with my man.

Looking forward to my birthday albeit with a little trepidation as the big 25 approaches. AHHH quarter of a century ahhhh lol.

As Gits would say "You're OOOOLLLLDDDD!!!!!" LOL
I'll always be older than him anyway lol that's okay he can be my boy toy lmao.
